Changes to Print Competitions for 2025/26

For the 2025/26 season we are trialling a change for Print Competitions only, to allow members to submit up to 3 Prints into each competition. This applies to League and standalone competitions. The number of league rounds has been reduced from 4 to 3. Dates of all competitions are published in the club calendar as well as PhotoEntry.

PDI competitions remain unchanged at 2 submissions per competition.

Club Competitions

We hold a number of internal Print and Projected Digital Image (PDI) club competitions where members submit images and the scores add up throughout the season to determine our award winners, including our Photographer of the Year.

The results for specific competitions are also available with PhotoEntry. Login select the competition you are interested in, select view all entries and you should see all entries in score order along wth the image.

External Competitions

Wimborne Camera Club is a member of the Southern Counties Photographic Federation (SCPF) and competes in leagues run by this organisation. The club also enters other competitions which are annual events run by other clubs. Another organisation that regularly runs exhibitions and competitions is the Royal Photographic Society. The club does not have any direct affiliations with the RPS but members can join the organisation and participate in its activities.
